Your Bio
My name is Robert Wilson. When I started doing international travel related to seismic exploration (exploring areas to determine where to drill for oil or gas), I bought a 110 camera and stuck it in my pocket. My primary interest was capturing "lifestyle images" that told a story about the people. Naturally I upgraded my camera over the years. My photographs were used in trade shows and the "Grapevine", a monthly publication of my division of Texas Instruments.
My interests changed with marriage and kids. When our first daughter started doing print work, I bought the equipment to take her head shots. I also started taking head shots for others and doing weddings to pay for more equipment. One of my clients is now doing TV and minor movie roles.
New jobs provided more international travel and photo opportunities.
Because our other daughter is a senior, I am the official Band photographer, and cover athletic events and theatrical events.
